The sketch parallel to the gutter of the book depicts Stettin Harbour, with figures gathered on the quayside. Orientated inversely to this sketch is a drawing of Dresden, taken from the River Elbe. The dome of the Frauenkirche, bridge, Kreuzkirche, Hofkirche and Schloss can be seen.
