This is a cursory sketch of Prague. Turner depicts the city from a southerly vantage point, encompassing St Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle and St Nicholas’ Church at left. Charles Bridge can be seen at centre, connecting the Old Town (left) and Lesser Town (right) at either end of the Vltava River.
