This page contains a simple sketch, drawn horizontally, of boats and buildings on a quayside. Finberg noted it simply as ‘Houses on Quay’,1 but the location has been identified further as Le Havre.2 At centre of the sketch, Turner indicates the studded and rounded wall of the Tower of François I.
