The page contains a very faint, rough sketch, drawn horizontally, of a street scene with a church tower left of centre. The view is similar to that on folio 33 recto opposite (D23762), but conveyed in less detail. Finberg noted this page simply as ‘Street, with church’,1 but the location has been further identified as Lillebonne.2 The shape of the church tower corresponds with that of the Church of Notre-Dame, Lillebonne (for further information on the church, see under folio 28 recto; D23752), and the large-roofed building to the right of the church corresponds with the one Turner depicts in a preceding sketch of this town square (folio 31 verso; D23759).
