The page contains a simple sketch, drawn horizontally, looking over the town of Poissy, with the two-towered collegiate church, Collégiale Notre-Dame de Poissy, on the right, and hills in the background; the elements below appear to be continued from the right-hand side of the main view. Finberg it simply as a ‘Town, with church’,1 but the location has since been confirmed.2 (For information on the town, see under folio 86 recto, D23868, and for the church, under folio 91 verso; D23879.) As with the view on the recto (D23882), the walls and towers depicted in the foreground would correspond to the town’s former fortifications.3
