This sketch continues the sweeping view of Folkestone Harbour from folio 15 verso opposite (D35290). Having lightly sketched the roofline of the town on the cliff above, culminating with the tower of St Mary’s and St Eanswythe’s Church at the left, Turner has again picked out only the roofline of the buildings on the harbour front, noting the fenestration with numbers.
