Be inspired by nature and use found objects to make your own unique paintings

Hints and Tips

  • You can use a paintbrush if you don't want to use feathers. What other materials could you use to make patterns on the paper?
  • You don't need to be on the beach to create this artwork. Use water in your bath or your kitchen sink. What else can you find in your garden or local park to help you make your art?
  • Remember to use ocean-friendly inks. If you are making art outside, take all your materials with you when you have finished
  • This activity is inspired by a Jessica Warboys artwork. Check it out below. She makes her artwork out of huge canvases. She uses the sea and the changing weather to help her make her beautiful abstract art. How do you think she was feeling when she made this artwork?
