We asked kids to tell us what they saw when they looked at a piece of art. They reacted to the art in front of them and told us exactly what they thought.
They said it 'it's so loud my eardrums are gonna pop!'. Woaaaahh! What could this be?

The artist Cildo Meireles made this artwork out of hundreds of old radios. He stacked up a mix of old-fashioned radios and newer ones and turned them on to create a buzzing, babbling tower.
The room glows with a blue light – pretty mysterious! The tower itself can be different heights depending where it is shown, but at Tate Modern it’s 8 metres high – that's over two elephants tall!
As you walk around this tower you hear music, voices and sounds all jumbled together, but it’s hard to understand any of them.
The artist, Cildo Meireles, was inspired by the Bible story of the Tower of Babel, where people tried to build a tower to reach the sky, but God made them speak different languages so they couldn’t understand each other. The sculpture is like a modern version of that story – it shows how hard it can be for humans to understand each other sometimes.
