The Art of the Sublime

‘The Sublime Affect’, 28 November 2008, Manton Studio, Tate Britain

This discussion brought together practitioners and theorists in order to explore the sublime affect, investigating the vocabulary of the sublime. It investigated the interest in the sublime affect from Burke to Lyotard, considering how language might capture experiences of the sublime.
