An untraced watercolour based on this study was engraved by T. Tagg for the Pocket Print Magazine, 1795.1 The incised line that frames the drawing may have been made in connection with the transfer of the subject to another sheet preparatory to the execution of this finished view.

The sheet is incised all round, approximately 5 mm from the edge; it is stained and torn at the corners.
