A.J. Finberg assumed1 that this and the drawing on folio 31 verso opposite (D01181; Turner Bequest XXXVII 64), formed a single view. That does not appear to be the case, and in fact the two studies are in different media. Another snow scene, perhaps at Lewisham, is on folios 33 verso–34 recto (D01185–D01186; Turner Bequest XXXVII 68–69).
