Architectural historian Christopher Wilson has kindly confirmed that these studies show details of gothic windows and ornament at Malmesbury Abbey.1 See the entry for folio 85 verso opposite (D01605; Turner Bequest XL 83a), where the inscriptions mentioned by Finberg in his joint entry for the two pages2 are located.
