The drawing is continued on folio 57 recto opposite (D01788; Turner Bequest XLII 113). The subject may be Tretwr, north-west of Crickhowell, which Turner drew twice in the 1798 Dynevor Castle sketchbook (Tate D01506–D01507, D01510–D01511; Turner Bequest XL 25a–26, 27a–28).
