Not mentioned in Finberg’s 1909 Inventory,1 these watercolour tests are on the verso of part of a pencil drawing of Cassiobury (D02219; Turner Bequest XLVII 42). There are also rough pencil forms which may indicate clouds over a wooded skyline.
