This study was made with the page turned horizontally. A large watercolour study (Tate D03643; Turner Bequest LX a B), shows a very similar view, though Turner does not seem to have made use of this sketch in relation to it as he did with the drawing on folio 19 verso (D02023) and another large watercolour, Tate D03642 (Turner Bequest LX a A).
