Fifteen Etchings. Straight lines in four directions and all their possible combinations, in an edition of twenty-five copies, with ten artist's proofs. Printed by Kathan Brown, Crown Point Press, Oakland. Published by Parasol Press, Ltd. New York City, 1973.
P01054 horizontalThe lines were drawn by the artist on a copper plate with a hard ground on 7 April 1973. The first ten sets (including this one) were printed in 1974 and the rest of the edition some months later, in February-March 1975, using a slightly different ink mixture which made the lines a little sharper. In both cases the printing was carried out by Kathan Brown and the paper used was Arches Satine watercolour paper. The sets have been issued in a shallow box, without any label or inscription.
