The original artwork for the right-hand image in Print C [P03053] of Paolozzi's suite of etchings ‘Cloud Atomic Laboratory’ 1971. The entry on this image in the text- sheet published with the suite reads: ‘WONDER TOY (Ideal Toy Corp. S600). Here is an amazing remote controlled robot called ROBERT THE ROBOT, who can move in any direction and whose hands move up and down when a child simply cranks the controls. An “on” and “off” switch controls lights on the robot's antenna and in his eyes. A record mechanism permits him to talk. A tool chest in his body contains tools enabling battery replacement. Made of high impact plastic, the robot is fourteen inches tall and manufactured by the Ideal Toy Corporation. The boy has a helmet with special radiation glasses and streamlined rocket plane top antenna.’
