The principal drawing is a view of the sixteenth-century bell-tower belonging to Thionville’s town hall. At the bottom left of the page Turner has drawn another view of the town, diminutive in scale, with the basic outlined profile of the twin towers of Saint-Maximin Church. These are repeated above at top left. The artist has inscribed the page with ‘Thionville’ towards bottom left.
