At the centre right is a rough arch continuing the view of the west side of Old London Bridge on the River Thames from the full-page view on folio 1 recto opposite (D18706).
The most prominent inscription is that of Turner’s executors, with the book’s original schedule number endorsed by Henry Scott Trimmer, Charles Turner, Charles Lock Eastlake and John Prescott Knight, starting at the top centre in ink: ‘No 302 | Contains 38 Leaves Pencil Sketches | on both sides – | HS Trimmer’, and initialled in pencil ‘C.L.E.’ and ‘JPK’ below, below left of the centre of the page. Charles Turner’s inscription overlaps with the drawing.
