Here Turner has made two sketches of the abbey at Flône, looking downstream as he travelled towards Neuville-sous-Huy. The seventeenth-century Junction Tower and dovecote can be seen in both views. Parallel to the gutter of the book is a wide view of the Meuse showing Flône in the distance.
