Lady Feodora GLEICHEN 1861–1922
Sculptor of figures and portrait busts and designer of decorative objects. Born 20 December 1861 in London, daughter of Admiral Prince Victor of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Studied at the Slade School under Legros. Exhibited at the R.A. from 1892, at the New Dudley Gallery and at the Paris International Exhibition 1900. Her best-known works are the ‘Diana’ Fountain in Hyde Park and the Edward VII Memorial outside the Edward VII Hospital at Windsor. Légion d'Honneur 1922. Died in London 22 February 1922. Posthumous member of the R.B.S.
