Tate Liverpool Talk

Crisis of Overproduction: art on the margins

People Make Videos, The Showroom, 2016

Join us for a series of talks looking at the current state of artistic production

This series of talks by artists, curators, and theorists presents an overview of the current state of artistic production. It explores the challenges presented to artists by today’s socio-economic conditions, and how they have created a range of practices that cross conventional boundaries and question the status quo.

19 January 2017, the talk will be held by Federica Bueti, a writer and editor based in Berlin. Her work explores the economies of writing and reading, desire and gender.
