A statue of ‘Psyche’, possibly the plaster, was exhibited in the R.A., 1908 (1976), and was a companion to ‘Atalanta’, R.A., 1907 (1839). A marble version of the latter was presented by the N.A.C.F. to the City Art Gallery, Manchester, in 1919, and a lead cast was set up as a memorial to the artist by the members of the Chelsea Arts Club on the west side of Albert Bridge, Chelsea Embankment (Apollo, loc. cit., repr.). Another bronze cast of ‘Psyche’ was purchased from the sculptor by the Lady Lever Art Gallery, Port Sunlight, in 1920.
