The Rise of the London Art Market conference audio recordings

London is a leading world market for contemporary art, but how has this come about? What role have dealers played? What is the anxiety about the relationship between money and art? How can we study the art market and what can it tell us both of the past and the present status of art? This is a set of audio recordings from the Tate Britain conference The Rise of the London Art Market which addressed these issues.
