Drop in to Expanded Embassy on Saturday 17 June as we celebrate the final weekend of Richard Bell’s Embassy at Tate Modern

Immerse yourself in conversation circles. Dream, imagine and connect across cultures.

Have your say as you join activists, artists, and changemakers to reflect on and discuss social justice issues of our time. Be inspired by the Embassy project and take part in the complex discussion around Indigenous land rights as you explore related themes like access to the countryside, reclaiming urban space, relationships to the land, or the cost-of-living crisis.

Turbine Hall performances

11.00–14.00 (hourly) Imogen Faires and Jamel Alatise, socially engaged spoken word poets.

15.00 and 16.00 Lizmnk, a multidisciplinary artist with spoken word drawing from nature, indigenous cultures and history .

17.00 A closing performance by Lizmnk and her band, whose sound is inspired by soul, funk, African, and jazz music .

Conversation facilitators

Indigenous artist and activist, Aretha Brown on land rights

Extinction Rebellion strategist, Daze Aghaji on changemaking and resistance

Bushra Schuitemaker, representing Black Girls Hike on reclaiming rural spaces

Curator Pelumi Odubanjo, representing Flat 70 on racial justice and reclaiming urban space
