This screening is populated by artists who present the spaces between identities, embodiments, imaginings and re-enactments. Each takes a critical and experimental approach to theatrical and cinematic devices. Ritual, spectacle and rehearsal are all among the starting points employed to engage with the ways in which individual and collective identity are performed.

Programme duration: 90 minutes.

Followed by artist discussions with Jacques Coetzer, Doris Bloom, and Lerato Shadi.
