Join us for a special private view taking place after hours.
You'll be immersed in underwater environments through multi-screen installations depicting ocean and river habitats. See the earth from a radically different perspective as Škarnulytė inserts herself into her works as a non-human figure.
From the perspective of a ‘future archaeologist’, Škarnulytė traverses spaces that we do not readily see, such as Cold War military bases, mining sites, neutrino observatories, decommissioned power plants and deep-sea data storage units. She reveals them to us as relics of a lost human culture, in which technological advancements have enabled a complex future burdened with environmental harm and losses.
