Kate Whiteford OBE (born 1952) is a Scottish artist.

Born in Glasgow, studied at the Glasgow School of Art from 1969 to 1972, followed in 1974–1976 with a degree in Art History from the University of Glasgow. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Tate Gallery.

Whiteford is heavily influenced by archaeology, drawing inspiration from the local Pictish art. Her work spans textiles, video, land art, prints and painting.
