Sir Francis Seymour Haden PPRE (16 September 1818 – 1 June 1910), was an English surgeon, best known as an original etcher who championed original printmaking and founded the Society of Painter-Etchers, now styled the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers ( at his home, 38 Hertford Street, Mayfair, on the 31st July, 1880.
