The writing on both these prints [P07584- P02548] evokes old manuscripts; it is mysterious and illegible. Bernik's expressive calligraphy and gestural colour marks are reminiscent of the work of Antoni Tàpies. He has used screenprinted colour to convey fragile paper collage.
