T03330 SKETCH FOR A WINGED FIGURE c.1930
Not inscribed
Bronze, 10 1/2 × 8 1/8 × 2 3/8 (25.9 × 20.4 × 6)
Presented by the artist's widow 1981
Reid Dick often made small sketches in plaster of figures, some of which were cast in bronze, which may or may not have been used later for generating ideas for other larger sculptures. This work probably dates from the 1920s or 1930s. No large winged figure by him is known.
