Display caption
Filmed in the confined space of a toilet, the artist puts on all the clothes in his wardrobe. The daily ritual of getting dressed is taken to absurd extremes in this repetitive and obsessive performance. Ultimately, the action becomes a test of physical endurance, as the layers of clothing become intolerably hot, and too bulky for Dickenson to move in properly.
