Edward Garnett (1868–1937), author and dramatist, was the son of Richard Garnett, writer and Keeper of Printed Books at the British Museum. His wife Constance (d. 1946) was well known as a translator of Russian literature and their son David Garnett (b. 1892) is also a writer.
