Götz was extremely active in exploring print-making techniques. He was interested in monoprinting, a technique of drawing directly onto an etching plate, which is then imprinted onto sheets of paper. Each monotype is unique, incorporating unrepeatable chance effects. The biomorphic forms that appear in these works reflect Götz's interest in Surrealism.
