P07515 EQUILIBRIUM 1975
Not inscribed
Photograph, printed by Michael Dyer Associates, published by the artist and Anthony Stokes in an edition of 15, 15 1/8× 14 7/8 (38.4×37.8)
Purchased from Antoinette Godkin (Grant-in-Aid) 1982
A colour version of this image was made at the same time as the group of six black and white photographic works mentioned above [P07616 and P07615], but was later destroyed. A version with stronger lighting and darker shadows was made to be illustrated in Photomontage by Dawn Ades (Thames &Hudson, 1976) but otherwise not shown, and a unique colour polaroid of the same subject was made in 1975. The photographs were taken by the artist and Michael Dyer, and mounted by the artist and Anthony Stokes.
