'Mr. Peanut’ (op.cit., no.55) was published by Württenburg, Stuttgart in an edition of 150. These three proofs are for the screeprinted background: in the final version small images as if from printed stickers collaged on are added over this ground. These images include a rocket, a car, a flying saucer and the American ‘Mr. Peanut’ trademark: a peanut in top hat, monocle, white gloves and spats. The ground colours are printed in different colourways throughout the edition.
