Martin Butlin and Evelyn Joll suggest that this drawing, together with that on folio 13 recto (D03734), was used as a source for one of the cows in the painting Sketch of a Bank, with Gipsies, probably shown at Turner’s gallery in 1809 (Tate N00467).1
