Catalogue entry

This sketch of a small sailing boat with two or three figures on board was probably made on Loch Ness. Turner may have depicted the same boat on folio 22 (D27004), where he also sketched the Falls of Foyers on the eastern shore of Loch Ness. For references to further sketches of Loch Ness, see folio 18 verso (D26997).
