Catalogue entry

This very hasty sketch, possibly taken from a coach, shows a road over a high pass, with a solitary figure. The site may be the Mont Cenis Pass of Mt Cenis and a mountain top in the distance, with a spire, might possibly be identifiable as the Rochemelon, to the south of the pass.
