Catalogue entry

The specific subject has yet to be established but there seems no reason to dispute Finberg’s general identification of this study, made with the page turned horizontally, as a view in the Plymouth area. The subjects as far as folio 127 recto (D09358) are all identified or presumed sites within a few miles, suggesting a series of fairly short excursions.
