This panorama of Oxford appears to have been taken from a vantage point near the village of North Hinksey. The principal landmarks visible are Magdalen College at far right followed by Christ Church Cathedral and College, All Souls College, All Saints Church, the Radcliffe Camera and St Mary’s Church. The Radcliffe Observatory is just visible at far left. The drawing is rendered with similar handling to Tate D28331–D28334, D28336–D28341, D28345; Turner Bequest CCLXXXIX 21–22a, 23a–26, 28.
