This rather rapid sketch, made with the book inverted, shows a view looking along a hill or ridge with a drop to the left; a tree in the foreground leans over the precipice. The drawing on folio 6 (D25534) is probably from a spot near by.
The following page of the sketchbook has been torn out, perhaps by Turner himself.
