Catalogue entry

This sketch has been identified as a view looking east across Loch Leven.1 With the sun low in the sky it must have been made in the early morning. The view is probably from North Ballachulish, as in the sketch on the reverse on this page (folio 4 verso; D26755).
For references to further views made at Ballachulish, see folio 2 (D26750).
