Catalogue entry

For Lyon and Turner’s views in this sketchbook and elsewhere, see folio 35 verso of this sketchbook (D04428). As first noticed by David Hill in correspondence with the author, a slight sketch of buildings on folio 36 verso (D04430) extends the present view to the right.1 Turner’s inscription, meaning ‘Ditto’, refers mainly to folio 36 (D04429).
