Catalogue entry

This page contains a small part of a sketch of Tivoli which spills over from the opposite sheet of the double-page spread, see folio 56 verso (D15031). The view depicts the town and the Santuario di Ercole Vincitore seen from the floor of the valley to the north, and visible on this side is a medieval watch-tower and the arcades supporting the nearby Piazza dell’Olmo (present-day Piazza Domenico Tani).
