Catalogue entry

The page contains two sketches, drawn horizontally, of the coast, with indications of buildings, such as the lighthouse at the left side of the upper sketch. Finberg recorded these sketches as ‘Houses, &c., on river-banks’;1 however, the location of Le Havre has been confirmed.2 The lower sketch may be a continuation of the upper panorama.
