Catalogue entry

Listed by Finberg as one of a batch of ‘loose leaves appear[ing] to belong to this book’ this was rebound as folio 71 verso so that the main subject aligns with its continuation on folio 72 (D07076; Turner Bequest 63). There is a separate, smaller sketch at upper left of a ship moored off a warehouse. Both subjects are drawn with the sketchbook inverted. See Introduction to the sketchbook for plans in the mid 1820s for a series of London subjects, including the Custom House and the Tower.
