Catalogue entry

There are three sketches on this page. Across the page, drawn with the sketchbook in its usual orientation, is a view of fells north of Brough in Cumbria continued from folio 35 (D25591). With the sketchbook inverted is a slight sketch of Brough Castle (as in folio 36; D25593). The third drawing on the page, made with the sketchbook turned to the right, depicts Penrith Castle looking up from the ditch to the south. There is another small outline sketch of the castle on folio 53 (D25625).
