Catalogue entry

The subject is continued on folio 99 recto opposite (D03103; Turner Bequest LVI 97). The trees in the park at Taymouth Castle, Kenmore, were famous, and Turner broke his habit in this sketchbook of making hasty records of general views to make studies of several specimens in some detail, between here and folio 104 recto (D03102–D03113; Turner Bequest LVI 96a–102).
