Catalogue entry

With the sketchbook inverted is, at the top-right corner of the page, a small sketch inscribed ‘Greta’. With a tower-shape visible above the trees, this is likely to be Mortham Tower from Rokeby Park across the River Greta to the west. Also across the page is a series of lines delineating the outline of hills which continue on folio 11 (D25544). That page also contains a view near Rokeby.
For further views of Mortham Tower see folio 10 (D25542).
